We are told in Scripture to study prophecy. In Revelation specifically we are told we will be blessed—Revelation 1:3 "Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand."  [KJV—bracketed text was added by the translators.]

To understand prophecy one not only has to study Scripture, one must also study and understand secular history—true secular history—which is difficult at times to ascertain. The history in the 1500's of The Reformation is a perfect example of this. People do not know (because they were never correctly taught) the important and HUGE significance of this worldwide event.

The Reformers ALL agreed that the antichrist was, and is the Papacy "system," and not one specific person. Satan wants to prevent as many individuals as possible from seeing and understanding this Truth. The adversary has done a very good job in blinding people from the Truth—even still today. However, the Reformers were clever indeed. They "cast in stone" the four beasts of Daniel 7.

Once the importance of The "Protest" Protestant Reformation is understood, only then can one appreciate the creation of the Jesuits. They were specifically created to destroy any and all "protesting" of the Roman Catholic Church (RCC)—the Papacy. The RCC absolutely could not have people protesting against them, and any protesters had to be eliminated. This remains their main mission today as well.

The Society of Jesus (Jesuits) was founded in 1540 by St. Ignatius Loyola with the approval of Pope Paul III. Many, if not all Jesuits knowingly work for Satan. The Jesuits run this world for its god—Satan.

The book of Revelation corresponds beautifully with "true" secular history when one does their homework and seriously takes the time to look. Francisco Ribera (1537-1591) and Luis De Alcazar aka Alcazar (1554-1613) are both worthy of mention. Ribera invented "Futurism" and Alcazar invented "Preterism." Remember the main mission of the Jesuits was, and still is to "counter" everything about the Protestant Reformation. Futurism and Preterism both distort Daniel 9:24-27. Futurism incorrectly suggests that those 70 weeks (490 years) were not consecutive—which they were. They happened a long time ago back in the first century. If anyone is familiar with the 16-book series "Left Behind" by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B Jenkins, understand that it is a work of pure fiction promoting the futuristic view. Sadly, many unfortunately have bought into it as truth. I find it totally ironic (you can't make this stuff up) that the publisher of the series is Tyndale (also the same name of a true Protestant Reformer). It gets even more crazy. Tyndale has also published a 3-book fiction series regarding Preterism by Hank Hanegraff and Sigmund Brouwer. Satan is working hard.

Here is the explanation of Daniel 9:24-27 once again. Futurism wants people to believe that the antichrist is one person who will arrive in the future, completely ignoring what Scripture clearly states. Preterism, on the other hand wants everyone to believe that Revelation already happened in the past—also incorrect.
