Scripture does not tell us that the sun and moon are physical spherical bodies.
Scripture presents the sun and the moon functionally as lights (me'orot) set in the heavens to:
(1) Separate day from night.
(2) Serve as signs, mark seasons aka appointed times (moʿadim), days, and years.
(3) To rule (govern) the day and night by giving light.
Our Creator knows intimately each human being that has ever lived, is living, or will live—whether we know that fact or not—and whether we consciously choose and earnestly desire to be close with Him as well, or not. It is my fervent prayer my brothers and sisters that everyone currently not sincerely choosing our Creator (and not Satan) and following our Creator's Son—our Messiah—wakes up and begins today in this very moment forever! Our Messiah is returning very soon.
